Animacion Para Adultos
All Of Our Shadows offers something that, sadly, is rarely seen: a committed short film especially aimed at teenagers. The protagonist is a 13-year-old young man who, after two murders in his neighborhood, is afraid to leave home and the journey to his institute is increasingly difficult to make. And of course, in an age when being vulnerable is not usually well seen, stress and fear take over him more and more.
The film, directed by Daniel Greaves and Ruth Beni offers a hopeful utopia with a positive message: I wish it were so and the classmates would support each other. Anyway, if it helps adolescents in a similar situation to see it, welcome. In fact, it would be great if it were screened in high schools.
Luckily for us, this hopeful short is animated with an estimable aesthetic – to which an original treatment is applied that adds texture to the image, as if we were seeing it on watercolor paper – and includes a fragment of stop motion and drawings on paper, with the extra charm that the handmade animation gives.
